Greetings Jefferson County Sewer Customers,

In an effort to provide efficient, transparent, effective, and reliable sewer billing services to the people of Jefferson County we wanted to let you know about a long overdue change in our billing system.

Coming this winter, we are implementing new software that will allow you to pay online, message us, view a history of billing and much more.  In addition, the new software provides monthly sewer bills that are easily readable with information to assist you in understanding the billing process. 

                Listed are several changes that you will notice on your first bill: 

·        Your account number will change to 13-digits. This number includes your location and customer information that is obtained from your water provider. 

·        A breakdown on calculating your sewer bill per water usage. 

·        A monthly consumption grid to compare your monthly usage.

We will also introduce a NEW Customer Portal where you can manage, research, and pay your account with ease each month.  Included within the portal are features to aide you with contacting a Customer Service Representative within our office. 

We are excited about these new improvements that will allow us to serve you better!  As the date for implementation of the new billing software gets closer, expect to receive additional information regarding the dynamic features of our new billing system.
