OUR ROLE
The Compliance Program

The Compliance Office is responsible for compliance program administration; annual review of Rules and Administrative Orders; compliance education and training; Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives; workplace investigations and corrective action follow-up. We invite all Jefferson County Commission employees to work with the Compliance Office so we can create an equitable and inclusive working environment together.

Training
We educate staff and leaders on how to stay compliant.
Rules and Regulations
We manage the repository of Rules and Administrative Orders.
Reporting
We report the effectiveness of compliance initiatives.
Forms and Documents
We are the source of forms and documents needed to navigate our compliance program.
Workplace Investigation
We receive, investigate and remedy complaints of discrimination and harassment.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI)
We promote an organization strategy that drives inclusiveness.

Compliance is Everyone's Responsibility

The Compliance Office can only investigate Jefferson County Commission merit system employees. Complaints against Elected and/or Appointed Officials should be referred to the County Attorney's Office.
